Mission statement

The mission of the UUFDC is to be a community of faith committed to the freedom of intellectual and spiritual inquiry and to the promotion of the worth and dignity of all persons, through service to its members, friends and the larger community.

The purpose of this Fellowship:To seek knowledge and wisdom, to explore freely the vast reaches of mind and spirit, to celebrate, within a caring community, those truths–ancient and modern–which give meaning and direction to our lives.

Everyone is welcome to attend our services.

The Fellowship is accessible to the handicapped.

Sunday services are held year-around at 10 AM and consist of a thought-provoking message as well as music and readings. Optional discussion related to the message follows a coffee break. The messages for the respective Sunday services may be delivered by:

  • Unitarian Universalist clergy
  • Clergy from other denominations
  • Unitarian Universalist lay speakers, songwriters, and authors
  • Members and friends presenting original work on a variety of topics
  • Members of the community speaking on many issues and from many viewpoints
  • Wisconsin Humanities Council speakers
  • Academic professionals from various colleges and universities
