Extremism between two sides: What to do?

Extremism in any form tends to produce extremism of the opposite variety. In the competition between the two, whether on the world scene or in the individual psyche, there is an “in-between” position that both sides can tolerate.

Jay Brickman is Emeritus Rabbi of Congregation Sinai in suburban Milwaukee. He preaches several times a year and leads Bible study class each summer at UUFDC. He and his wife Rita are a valued part of out Fellowship.
