THE SEARCH FOR THE HOLY GRAIL

For a long time now we have been living in a culture that protects us from hardship and danger, a world in which everything is more or less predictable, where most people emulate those getting the greatest socio-economic rewards. But something is always pulling us to deepen our life, a pull to awaken. Rumi, the poet, says, “Grapes want to turn to wine”.

Rev. Sweet is a popular and frequent speaker at the UUFDC. He served as minister for Hope Church in Sturgeon Bay and two rural churches in western Minnesota.
