THE NECESSITY OF DARKNESS

Depression is something that is totally natural. In a recent book entitled “Manufacturing Depression” by Gary Greenberg, the author asks the question of whether we have reached a point where unhappiness is a form of inefficiency for which a drug can be prescribed. Depression is simply one-half of the equation of reality. It comes not to aggravate but to cure.

Rev. Sweet is a popular and frequent speaker at UUFDC. He served as minister for Hope Church in Sturgeon Bay and two rural churches in western Minnesota.
