FACE TO FACE WITH A DEVELOPING COUNTRY
Traveling is always stimulating and interesting. But what about “living” the experience? Especially when we come from a country that has so much.
A retired social worker, Meg Vermillion has been a Member of UUFDC for 10 years and is responsible for starting the Social Responsibility Committee. Her love of alternative travel has taken her on six volunteer trips, from First Nation reservations in the US to Peru and Tanzania. This summer she is bringing the Tanzanian dance and music troupe, Imuka, to the Door Community Auditorium.
