Imuka Is Coming to Door County

By Meg Vermillion

All the way from the shores of Africa’s Lake Victoria to the shores of Lake Michigan, this troupe brings a multitude of musical talents to share with Door County on Saturday, July 9, at the Door Community Auditorium. Rare singing techniques, electrifying choreography, robust hand drumming and percussion sounds will lift you out of your seat.  Traditional dancing techniques adapted from the oldest East African folk songs and dances will be on display during their mesmerizing performance.
