August 28 – Alan Kopischke

WHAT HAPPENED TO COMPROMISE?

Why does compromise seem so much harder? From the debt ceiling debates at the Federal level, to the collective bargaining debates at the State level to deciding what the family should do for vacation, making compromises seems to be getting more difficult. What does this say about where we are going (or not going)?

Music: Gerri Friedman, piano, and Dottie Gerrits, flute; the UU Choir, Cynthia Stiehl – director, and Donna Russell – accompanist.
Service Leader: Sheila Saperstein

The scheduled speaker, Rabbi Brickman, had to cancel due to health reasons.
