August 19 – The Rev. Cynthia Johnson

Rev. Cynthia Johnson

I spend a lot of time thinking about our nation’s political paralysis and what a democracy needs from its citizens and its elected officials. The bad news is that I recently discovered a new, serious problem that no one else seems to have noticed. The good news is that I have also found a partial solution.

Cynthia Johnson, a retired Unitarian Universalist minister who served UU congregations in Texas and Oklahoma, joined UUFDC in 2000 when she and Al moved to Door County. Cynthia is active as an artist and a poet. She enjoys family and friends, nature, travel, and reading and writing.

Music: Gerri Friedberg, piano; the UUFDC Choir, Cynthia Stiehl, director and Donna Russell, accompanist
