Crossing the Line: Defending Wisconsin’s Environmental Commons
In January we celebrate the power of people standing together with the free screening of Crossing the Line: Defending Wisconsin’s Environmental Commons, a short film by Wisconsin native Jane Bartell. Crossing the Line documents the stories of five communities who stood together to protect our air, land and water. These are heroic everyday people from around our state who stood up for their rights to a clean and healthy environment and WON!
Midwest Environmental Advocates produced this film. It is a non-profit environmental law center that works for healthy water, healthy air, healthy land and healthy government for this generation and the next. They believe that every citizen has the potential to make a difference. For more information about this important organization visit midwestadvocates.org
With the prospect of enormous environmental challenges on many fronts, please join us to be inspired and motivated for action. Tuesday, January 15 at 4:30 pm.
