Internationally recognized artist and Door County resident, Bonnie Paruch has invited 30 of her students to participate in a collaborative show, “Sharing the Vision”.  The Show runs from August 4 through August 25.  A reception, open to the public and introducing the artists, will be held on Sunday, August 4, from 12:00 noon until 2:00pm.

Paruch, explains, “The show features several of my paintings and individually selected small works, one for each of the 30 artists. Cheryl Stidwell Parker will judge the collected works and award three prizes sponsored by the Peninsula School of Art, The Clearing Folk School, and Vern and Bonnie Paruch.

“For the past thirty years it has been my honor to work with an amazing array of artists.  I extended an invitation to a diverse and wonderful group of individuals who bring a wide selection of life and art experience to this show.  Some are professional artists with gallery and show biographies of their own. Others are emerging artists seeking the right path to a career in the arts.  Others are seekers, beginning new endeavors in art and painting for the purest reason of all, to learn something new.  Each artist has impacted me.  Teaching is not a one way street, it is a relationship that flows in both directions”.
