SOCIAL EQUITY AND COMMUNITY RESILIENCE IN THE FACE OF CLIMATE CHANGE

Beyond our individual efforts to mitigate the effects of climate change in our own lives, we must also adapt to strengthen and preserve our communities. What can we be doing to plan for challenges like extreme weather events and their public health consequences in ways that will protect the most vulnerable among us?

Nan Fey is a graduate of Lawrence University (1974) and a frequent visitor to Door County.  She lives in Madison where she is a member of the First Unitarian Society, and has served as chair of the City’s land use Planning Commission and a member of the City’s sustainability planning team for nearly a decade. She enjoys hiking, biking, skiing, sailing, swimming and singing with friends.
