  • October 6, 2016
  • 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM
  • 10341 Water Street Highway 42 Ephraim, WI 54211

The Emissary movie is a family friendly, sci-fi comedy filmed entirely in Door County except for a scene shot at the Palomar observatory in California. Adults and children of all ages love the film which is exciting and action-filled but heartwarming with an uplifting, feel-great ending. The story playfully explores a more serious theme of attending to gratitude and mindfulness, even during a crisis.

Produced by husband and wife team, Tim and Holly Erskine, the movie features extensive, Hollywood-quality special effects, including the sinking of the Edmund Fitzgerald and a spaceship landing in Newport State Park. Holly is a Member of UUFDC.

This screening is for Members and Friends of UUFDC on Thursday, October 6 at 4 pm. A pizza party ($10 per person) will follow the showing of the 1 hour and 50 minute film. Please sign up in the lobby to help the 20th Anniversary Committee plan for the event.
