Rev. Karon SandbergAs a hospice chaplain, I see families struggle with making decisions for their loved ones at end of life because no one has made any plans; no one has had a conversation about this important and vital topic. Please join me as we explore why talking about dying with our loved ones is so difficult and how we can approach this topic with love and respect and dignity for ourselves and our loved ones.

Rev. Karon Sandberg was ordained by the Fox Valley UU Fellowship and serves them as a community minister.  Karon spends her days as a Hospice Chaplain where her patients remind her to live life fully, and preaches at various lay-lead congregations around northeast Wisconsin. She was accepted into Final Fellowship at this year’s UUA General Assembly, which is like getting ministerial tenure. Karon and her partner, Joel, live in Appleton, WI where they have raised their two children, Derek and Claire.
