This season Kate Boyd will be performing a solo recital at Carnegie’s Weill Hall. As a part of her preparation, Kate is playing her program in multiple venues this spring, including the UUFDC on Saturday, April 29 at 7 pm.

An active soloist and chamber musician, Boyd has performed solo recitals at Schubert’s birth house in Vienna, the National Concert Hall in Dublin, the Musikhalle Hamburg, in addition to many places throughout the US and Canada. As a faculty member at Butler University, she has appeared as a soloist with each of the University’s large ensembles in performances ranging from Beethoven’s Choral Fantasy to Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue.

The event fee is $15 per person and will be collected at the door upon arrival. A delightful reception will follow the concert. Please call the office at 920-854-7559 to RSVP or sign-up in the lobby so we can prepare enough scrumptious fare for the reception.
