Food Ethics and Unitarian Universalism

UUs strive to respect the interdependent web of all existence, fostering a sustainable earth.  The field of food ethics calls us to examine what we put on our plates and how it affects our relationships in this web.  This Sunday we’ll explore the daily and often difficult decisions we make as we “worry about what we shall eat”.

Steve Sieck is a seminarian at the Meadville Lombard Theological School and an aspirant for UU ministry.  Currently he serves as an associate professor of music at the Lawrence University Conservatory of Music, where he directs choirs, and as the Director of Music at the Fox Valley UU Fellowship. He is a prominent scholar of inclusive pedagogy in music ensembles.  Steve is the father to biological, adopted, and foster children, and an avid lover of running and comedy.
