APRIL 25 Rev. Karon Sandberg Divinity Lies in the Actions of Our Shadow Self — Service Leader:  Cyndy Stiehl

Carl Jung identified the Shadow Self to be the parts of ourselves we are too ashamed to show others.  Yet, by doing so we are not fully ourselves and ultimately can cause damage to ourselves.  What might happen if we bring our shadow out of the darkness?  Is it possible that divinity and holiness can be found there? Join us as we look honestly at the purpose and value of our shadow sides.

Rev. Karon Sandberg is a hospice chaplain who finds great meaning in her work and learns from her patients how to live life more fully. She was ordained by the Fox Valley UU Fellowship and serves them as a community minister. She and her partner, Joel, have been married for over 30 years. They are enjoying their empty nest and the opportunity to explore new places and activities as they enter this new phase of life.

The YouTube playlist will be available by the end of the day Friday, April 23rd. You can watch the service link at any time, no YouTube account is needed. Look out in your email on Friday for a link to view the recorded service AND a Zoom link to attend a discussion of this service at Sunday, 11AM. To join our mailing list to attend events like this in the future, email contact@uufdc.org
