Led by Rev. Jim Coakley and Margit Kindel
The year 2018 marked the 450th anniversary of the Edict of Torda, the first instance of a government granting religious tolerance in Europe. It was proclaimed by the only Unitarian king that ever existed and is a fascinating and proud part of our heritage.
In November, Rev. Jim Coakley helped guide a pilgrimage from the Fox Valley Fellowship to Transylvania to visit the important places of Unitarian history. He and his spouse, Margit Kindel, will provide an important lesson in history brought alive through photos and stories. They invite you to enrich your connection to Unitarianism both past and present for a couple hours on a mid-winter afternoon.
Rev. Jim and Margit are long time members of the Fox Valley Unitarian Universalist Fellowship in Appleton.
