WOW!  January for your Social Responsibility Committee was a whirlwind of activities! The Just Economic Community task force had a wonderful first meeting under the leadership of Chuck Lauter and Arnie and Judy Widen. Roger Kuhns led a fascinating workshop on a newly developed Sustainability App. Thanks to Mary Smythe for setting up this opportunity.  Belated kudos to all who participated in an amazing collection of coats for kids (special thanks to Jane Wise and Juliana Neuman) and an excellent collection for Guest at Your Table (special thanks to Jane Wise, Pat Crow and Peggy Lott).

Looking forward, we could use some extra helping hands! Planning is currently taking place for:

• Ÿ 2016 Power of Purchase Project – ongoing throughout the year (SRC committee)
• Justice Sunday – March 20 (Chuck Lauter, lead person)
• Earth Day Sunday – April 17 (Judy Brodd, lead person)
• Green Games Night – Friday, April 22 (Jane Wise, Cindy Nelson, lead persons)
