Rev. Karen Hering is consulting literary minister, rooted at Unity Church-Unitarian, St. Paul, and author of Writing to Wake the Soul: Opening the Sacred Conversation Within, recipient of a Silver Nautilus award for books contributing to spiritual growth, conscious living, responsible leadership and social change. She has prepared this service in collaboration with her son Cat Hammond, who leads Gender 101 workshops for cultural organizations and congregations.
