TED is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks.  TED began in 1984 as a conference where Technology, Entertainment and Design converged, and today covers almost all topics – from science to business to global issues.UUFDC JEC (Just Economic Community) is presenting some TED Talks on Escalating Inequality (and How to Create Opportunity for All).  Jim Black will be leading these presentations on four consecutive Wednesdays, starting on August 31; talks will last from 4 to 5:30 pm at the UUFDC. Going out for pizza afterward – optional!
