In a world that can be focused on divisions and polarization, finding ways to build understanding can be quite daunting. Carol will explore how having the courage to develop the spiritual muscle to see and hear with the eyes and ears of love (in the deepest, profound sense) gives an opening toward understanding. She will utilize the wisdom found in the writing of Henri J. W. Nouwen, her practice of Kundalini Yoga, and the life of two good friends who passed recently to lift up the power of incorporating love’s vibration into everyday routines.
Carol Hackbardt grew up in an inter-denominational Community Church in California. She served as ordained minister in the United Methodist Church in Wisconsin for 32 years, serving Calvary and Zion United Methodist in Door County 2004 to 2011 before retiring. Carol is now a Wellness Consultant and is certified to teach Kundalini Yoga. She has a passion for building bridges of understanding, experiencing the beauty of multicultural diversity, and healthy, compassionate, fun, environmentally conscious living.
