Join us on Sunday, July 7th from 12:30-2:30pm for a workshop continuing the message from Rev. Dottie Mathews’ morning service: Endless Suffering/Endless Compassion. Dottie will expand on and deepen our understanding of the themes presented in the morning, such as staying grounded and open hearted, even as we face all the endless suffering of the world. The teachings of Pema Chodron and Joanna Macy will be the foundation of some spiritual practices that can help us maintain compassion, loving kindness, joy, and equanimity in our lives during these difficult times. Our session will include some meditation practices led by Paula Christensen.
