Have you ever had a conversation that goes this way? “Hey, I hear you are going to the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship? Why did you choose to go there?” Or maybe your sister or cousin has muttered, “Why, in Heaven’s name, are you going to that church?” Or maybe you want to begin the conversation with your adult non-church-attending son. “This workshop is for you!!!” Sometimes I say, “It’s easier to BE a Unitarian Universalist that it is to explain to other people why you are.”
Many years ago I designed a two-session workshop called “How To Talk About Unitarian Universalism at Home and Work and in Your Neighborhood.” I’ve taught it in about a dozen UU congregations. It’s time to teach it here again.
The workshop is offered on Wednesday, October 12 and 19 from 1 – 3 pm at the UUFDC. Please sign up in the lobby. The class is limited to 14 people. If you have questions please contact Cynthia at 839-9298.
