Caring Committee

The Caring Committee supports our members and friends in times of need and joy.

We provide programs and services to fulfill a key element of our Fellowship’s mission: “caring actively for the well being of its Fellowship family”. Services may include meals, grocery shopping or other errands, rides to appointments, supportive visits, short-term pet care, calls, cards, and respite for caregivers. Health and wellness workshops are planned based on topics of interest.

Good2Go, is our program that focuses specifically on end-of-life care. Throughout the year we host workshops, presentations, and book discussions on the spiritual and practical aspects of preparing ourselves and our loved ones for our final days. UUFDC members, friends, and the wider community are invited to attend.

With the guidance of our UU Principles and greater Door County community resources, we collaboratively work at our caring mission.
