On January 15th, Tuesday at 4:30 pm at the Fellowship, join the Environmental Justice Action team in viewing and discussing, Saving Snow (2018, 53 minutes).

Filmed in Wisconsin, Saving Snow, a production of Adaptation Now investigates how the snow sport industry is taking action in regards to climate change, as the heat is melting their snowy turfs and their means of support. With their passion and livelihoods on the line, we’ll learn how these community leaders are paving the way towards a clean energy future, on a quest to save the “fresh powder” that brings meaning and means to their lives.

About the Movies that Matter Series: The film is part of the UUFDC’s monthly Movies That Matter series examining a wide range of issues. The free screenings are followed by a discussion.
