It’s Difficult to Offer Love and Compassion When I Want to Punch You in the Face with Rev. Karon Sandberg

A provocative title, I know.  But admit it, no matter which side of the fence we are standing on, we are all too familiar with these feelings.  Politics and the pandemic have pushed us further apart and have created strong lines of division, even within our very own families.  Yet, if we are ever really going to make any differences in our country, if we are ever really going to heal as a nation, we simply must find ways to come together.  Will it be easy?  Of course not.  Is it possible?  Absolutely.  Join us as we explore ways to bridge our divisions.

Rev. Karon Sandberg was ordained by the Fox Valley UU Fellowship and serves them as a community minister. She and her partner, Joel, have been married for over 30 years. They are enjoying their empty nest and the opportunity to explore new places and activities as they experience this phase of life.
