Coloring Outside the Lines

Tony’s sermon on this Sunday is about what people sometimes call thinking outside the box, moving outside the grid, or jumping the rails of conventional thinking. It’s also sometimes referred to, simply, as a paradigm shift. Whatever we might call it, though, it is the foundation stone for almost every important movement, cultural change, scientific advancement, artistic breakthrough, or religious development. Tony’s sermon will show us how it can be important in our own spiritual growth as well.

Dr. Rev. Tony Larsen retired after serving 42 years as minister at Olympia Brown UU Church in Racine, where he was the longest serving Unitarian Universalist minister in the country. He recently has joined Unitarian Church North, in Ozaukee County, as its part-time minister.
