Poetry Sunday 2022: Expressions of Community 

After the pandemic subsides, we say, we long for community. But what is it? Where does it arise? How do we find it? What sustains it? Poetic answers to such questions from twelve poets may surprise you! This year’s reading will include poems by Sharon Auberle, David Clowers, Ethel Davis, Tom Davis, Gerri Friedberg, Jami Hanreddy, Estella Lauter, Ralph Murre, Nancy Rafal, Mark Richards, Tom Toerpe, and Henk Wolst. In the discussion after the reading, we hope to draw on images and ideas of community from the poems and draw out others from participants.
