Tony will speak about what he has learned about the ups and downs of parenthood from his own dad—including not just what to do, but what not to do. “In the beginning,” he says, “I thought I had been short-changed in the dad department. Now I’ve come to see that some of the burdens may have been blessings, and some of what grated may have been gift.”

Rev. Dr. Tony Larsen has recently retired from being the minister at Olympia Brown Unitarian Universalist Church in Racine (for over 42 years–a record!). He has written a book entitled Trust Yourself! You Have the Power (Impact Publishers, 1979), authored a UUA curriculum (“A Catechism for Unitarian Universalists”) and contributed chapters to UUA-published books Salted With Fire and Everyday Spiritual Practice.
