For more than a decade, the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Door County has devoted one Sunday each April to poetry. In each of the last five years, 10-12 poets who are either members or friends of this fellowship have written and read poems on a theme (e.g., the equinox, justice, the earth). This year, on April 24th, they will commemorate the Fellowship’s 20th anniversary with poems that express some aspect of this benchmark. As usual, each poet will explore the theme in his/her own way, bringing personal experience, poetic craft and insight to bear on it. Participating poets will include Sharon Auberle, David Clowers, Hanne Gault, Jami Hanreddy, Phil Hansotia, Donna Johnson, Estella Lauter, Nancy Rafal, Jack Redell and Henry Timm. Join them as they reflect on what it means to celebrate 20 years.
