Our fourth principle calls for “respect and dignity for all”. Funny how that works when it is for folks who think like us, but what about those who do not? If we truly hold to this UU principle, then we also need to reach out with an open hand to those who hold more conservative beliefs than ourselves. This can be a challenge for many UU’s. We will explore finding ways in which we can find a common ground with respect and dignity for all.

Rev. Karon Sandberg was ordained by the Fox Valley UU Fellowship and serves them as a community minister.  She spends her days as a Hospice Chaplain where her patients remind her to live life fully.  She preaches at various lay lead congregations around NE Wisconsin and most recently spoke at the UU congregation in St. John, US Virgin Islands. She and her partner, Joel, live in Appleton, WI where they have raised thier two children, Derek and Claire.
