To honor our founders who served, and continue to serve with grace, the current UUFDC Board and staff will share ideas and inspirations from the book, Serving with Grace: Lay Leadership as a Spiritual Practice, by Erik Walker Wikstrom.  According to one review of the book, “Meditation, ritual and prayer are the glamorous side of the spiritual life, but service is its heart.  Serving with Grace combines the idea that service is spirituality with practical ways of living it out.”   Congregational leadership and participation in congregational life can deepen your understanding of oneself, one’s community and one’s world.  And it can be a great joy in your life!
