You Are Not Alone In This Darkness: The Importance of Sharing Dreamwork
It is possible to remember when life is most difficult that we dream for and with each other about the future. Our most moving dreams, especially nightmares, then, are not our private property, but belong to all. When we make time to listen to each other’s dreams, especially those of the children, we can ease the burden of isolation by receiving the dreams as if they are our own. We can offer insights from our own lives as a gift to the dreamer using a strategy called, “feeding back.”
