This season of celebration offers many gifts. One such gift is our narratives. The spirit of Christmas is found in them. Regardless of the Christmas story we embrace, the stories that surround the holiday share much in common and invite us to join together to promote peace, goodwill and generosity toward all.
Chaplain Joy Zakrzewski and her husband Len, and their black cat Hannah live in Ellison Bay. Having moved to Door County from Stevens Point, WI, 15 years ago they’ve never looked back and don’t regret a single moment of life here in one of the most beautiful places on earth. Joy is the Chaplain and Social Services Assistant at GSS-Scandia Village. She is also the Deacon at St Luke’s Episcopal Church.
