A Different Voice with Dick Smythe
About the Message: How often do we hear a critique of the church in America from:
A black pastor…Former drug dealer…Former sex worker…Former homeless queer teen…Former felon?

This morning we will hear from a Lutheran pastor who combines all these attributes. I believe we need to hear what he has to say.

About the Speaker:  Dick Smythe is an entomologist retired from the research division of the US Forest Service. Throughout his life he has maintained two dominant interests: first, his fascination with the natural world – our non-human environment and endless source of wonder; second, his abiding interest in religion/theology – a subject of continuing education and challenge.
