We live in a paradigm of domination and control. Our political, economic, social, and cultural systems all have an expectation that someone will be in charge. Where does this expectation come from? Is it inherent in our binary brain or our binary sexuality? Is it an appropriate paradigm for the future? We’ll explore some ideas without engaging in a complete study of Western Civilization. More importantly, we’ll imagine a world where a different paradigm is used.

Mark Richards recently began his fourth career as a hospice chaplain serving Door and Kewaunee counties. He is a lifelong New Englander who also spent fifteen years in North Carolina. He is a candidate for ministerial fellowship with the UUA and will accept prayers, positive energy, and/or good wishes. Mark and Christina recently purchased a home in Carlsville and are enjoying exploring the Door County peninsula and meeting new friends.
